Answering Your
Q: Is Microblading Painful?
A: Generally no. We use a topical anesthetic to ease discomfort.
Q: Can I do this even if I have NO eyebrow hair?
A: YES! We use strategic technique that maps your facial structure that allows us to create a natural, yet defined brow shape even without using hair as a general guide. We have helped many clients without eyebrow hair (due to cosmetic removal or medical diagnoses) with eyebrow reconstruction.
Q: How long does the appointment take?
A: Roughly 2-3 Hours; give or take based on how much of the eyebrow needs to be reconstructed. We suggest clients usually block out 3 hours to be safe.
Q: How long do the results last?
A: Micoblading can last anywhere from 12-18 months, Combo & Powder Brows can Last anywhere between 2-3 years depending on skin type and how you care for them. Coming in annually for touch-ups helps maintain the definition and color.
Q: How long is the healing process?
A: The microwounds that are created in the dermis during the procedure take around 6 weeks to fully heal at which point you will come in for your second session to finish the brows.
Q: Why is a 6-8 week touch up necessary?
A: Initially, the brows will appear darker, but will fade significantly over a 2-week period. It is highly recommended to come in for the 6-8 week touch up as it is extremely difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the initial pigment.
Q: Can I skip the touch-up?
A: If you do not get your touch up at 6-8 weeks you run the risk of patchy, uneven color based on how your skin has healed. They will also fade much faster and not give you the beautiful, lasting results you want and expect.
